Before creating my own digipak version, I decided to do some research to see what the conventional digipak for a female pop artist would be.
I looked at Katy Perry's digipak for inspiration and learnt a lot about what a stereotypical pop artist will feature on their digipak
My Digipak:
This was the digipak that I created by myself and me & my fellow group members decided that it would be best to all come up with our own digipak's so that we could then look over them all and see what would be best and how we could bring all our skills together to create our final digipak.
I decided to use purple as my main colour on the digipak, as it was one of the main colours on our colour scheme for the music video and I felt that it was a conventional pop artist colour.
I like the idea for the welcome note. I wrote the welcome note out then added a clipping tool to it, to attach the gold image that I found online and this make it seem more rich. However, looking back, I should have gone for a different shade of gold, as it is very difficult to read from far away.

This post demonstrates minimal understanding of the choices and decisions that you made to your own digipakt. This is because you have not explored the conventions, colours, images, styles and photoshop skills in enough detail and have only included a very basic overview instead. You also need to include your paper design, to demonstrate more understanding of how your ideas developed.
ReplyDeleteHow will you share your design with your group?
