In
this advert, the artist is represented to be soft and beautiful and this is

Connotations:
Colours:
The
colours that are used on this advert are bronzes and gold colours. This shows
that she is successful and the colour bronze connotes wealth and power. This
shows to the viewer that her career will be the same and as Spirit was the
first released album with her own original songs.
Layout:
The
layout of this advert is a very simplistic one. There is the artists name at
the top, with an image of Leona in the middle with the album name below her
face. Then there is a section at the bottom, which says that, the “album is
out” and “that the wait is over”.
Image:
Leona’s
image in this advert is one that shows off her natural self, which will help
the audience to relate back to her, as she was a normal ordinary person before
she applied for The X Factor and got a record label. Also, it will cause people
for the person she was beforehand and this could make people like her more as
they will see her as more humble due to her natural face and her not having had
a massive make over to look more like a pop star.
Typography:
The
font used in this advert has been used to stand out and this is due to the
contrast of the font against the image of the artist. Leona is shown to be soft
and airy whilst the font is quite a sharp straight lined one, which is
completely different to the softness, which is conveyed in her image.
Style
of language:
The
style of language on the advert is very basic so that everyone would be able to
understand the album advert and this would been the advert would be more
widespread.
